Former President of Overlook Medical Center, Atlantic Health System

Alan Lieber is a healthcare and community leader whose career reflects a lifelong commitment to innovation, collaboration, and improving value in care delivery. After nearly two decades as President of Overlook Medical Center and Eastern Region Market Leader for Atlantic Health System, he continues to advance healthcare strategy and community leadership through advisory and volunteer roles.

At Overlook, Alan led the development of an integrated delivery system serving more than 600,000 residents in northern New Jersey. He co-founded the Optimus and Atlantic Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), collectively encompassing 420,000 members, and served as Vice Chair of the Optimus ACO, one of the few in the nation to achieve Medicare shared savings every year since 2012. Overlook and Atlantic Health were also participants in Medicare gainsharing demonstration projects, helping to pioneer new models of hospital-physician alignment and performance-based reimbursement.

Under his leadership, Overlook was recognized among the Top 50 Hospitals in the United States by Healthgrades, Becker’s, and Practice Greenhealth. He fostered a culture of innovation that produced a patented Insulin Safety Device (ISSI Box)—now sold nationally—and one of the region’s first hospital-based 3D printing programs.

Former President of CarelonRx (Elevance Health)

Amy Mulderry is a healthcare executive whose career spans operating leadership, corporate finance, and capital markets. She most recently served as President of CarelonRx, the pharmacy services division of Elevance Health and one of the largest pharmacy enterprises in the United States, a roughly $45 billion revenue business spanning pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, home delivery, and clinical programs. Earlier at Elevance Health, she served simultaneously as Chief Financial Officer of Carelon and Chief Development Officer, overseeing M&A and corporate integration and deploying over $6 billion in capital. Before her operating career, Amy spent more than fifteen years as a public-equity investor managing multi-billion-dollar healthcare portfolios at leading firms, including Citadel Global Equities and Tavio Capital, a $600 million healthcare fund she founded in partnership with Blackstone. She holds a BA in Government from Cornell University.

Managing Partner, MTS Health Partners

Andy Weisenfeld has been an investment banker since 1989. Andy became a Partner at MTS Health Partners in January 2008 and is now one of the firm’s Managing Partners, primarily responsible for the development of the life sciences M&A advisory practice. Prior to joining MTS, Andy was a Managing Director in Bank of America Securities’ Corporate and Investment Banking Healthcare Group where he co-led the firm’s life sciences practice, providing capital raising and strategic advisory services to both publicly traded and private companies. Prior to joining Bank of America in 2003, Andy was a Managing Director at JP Morgan and its predecessor company, Chase Securities, leading its Healthcare M&A business across all sectors of healthcare from the middle of 1997 to the beginning of 2003. Prior to joining Chase, Andy spent over five years in the M&A Group at Merrill Lynch. Throughout his career, Andy has worked on a wide range of advisory transactions including acquisitions, sale transactions and strategic relationships. Selected life sciences transactions include Pharmacosmos’ acquisition of G1 Therapeutics,  the sale of Seagen to Pfizer for over $44 Billion, the sale of Chinook to Novartis, the sale of CTI to SOBI, the sale of Veloxis to Asahi and subsequent acquisition of Caliditas by Asahi/Veloxis, the acquisition of Alder by Lundbeck, the merger of Keryx with Akebia, the sale of Colucid to Lilly, the sale of Celator to Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Otsuka’s acquisitions of Avanir and Neurovance, and a number of the most prominent biotech mergers. Mr. Weisenfeld is also an active alumnus of Cornell University, acting as a member of the Cornell Brooks School of Public Policy Advisory Council and past member of Cornell Dyson School’s Undergraduate Program Advisory Council. Mr. Weisenfeld holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Cornell University.

Vice President of Physician Enterprise and Business Development for Centralus Health (retired)

Gary D. Grossfeld, MD, MPH is an experienced healthcare professional who has achieved multiple leadership positions across academic and clinical medicine, pharmaceutical drug development, and healthcare administration.  Gary is a urologic oncologist who practiced in academic medicine as a faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco, where his clinical and research interests included the treatment of patients with prostate, bladder, kidney and testis cancer, authoring or co-authoring nearly 90 research articles and 20 book chapters.  He transitioned into private practice in 2003 and continued to focus on the care of patients with urologic cancer.  Gary left clinical practice in 2013 and subsequently received a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.   He served as Vice President and Surgical Director at Patient Doctor Technologies, Inc (dba Doctella.com), a digital patient education start-up, from June 2015 through June 2017. Gary then worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb from July 2017 until March 2023, where he held multiple leadership positions focused on the development of novel oncology treatments. After relocating from New York City to Ithaca, New York in September 2023, Gary accepted a position as Medical Director of Surgical Services and Vice President of Physician Enterprise and Business Development for Centralus Health. Gary retired from his position at Centralus in December 2025. He is currently an Executive-in Residence for the Cornell Sloan Master of Health Administration program.

Chief Development and Co-Founder, Rendr

John Hui is a serial entrepreneur and healthcare executive with more than 23 years of experience building and scaling innovative healthcare services and technology companies. His work spans provider organizations, digital health, and value-based care transformation. He is a co-founder of Rendr, the largest multi-specialty medical group dedicated to serving the Asian community in New York City. As Chief Development Officer, John oversees physician practice acquisitions, marketing, and ECAP IPA, helping drive Rendr’s growth and advancement in value-based care. John is also the co-founder and former CEO of Twiage, an award-winning digital health company that pioneered prehospital communication technology to improve emergency care coordination. In 2024, he successfully led Twiage through its acquisition by a private equity-backed healthcare technology company. John earned his MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and received executive training in value-based care at Harvard Medical School.

President, WVU Medicine

Mark O’Hern serves as President of WVU Medicine East Hospitals, a region of the WVU Medicine Health System comprised of five hospitals — Berkeley Medical Center, Jefferson Medical Center, Garrett Regional Medical Center, Potomac Valley Hospital, and Grant Memorial Hospital. Appointed to the role in November 2024, Mr. O’Hern provides executive and strategic leadership across the East Region, which collectively represents a $1 billion enterprise with more than 3,000 employees and over 500 employed and affiliated providers serving communities throughout the Eastern Panhandle and surrounding areas. In his role, Mr. O’Hern is responsible for advancing growth strategies to increase market share and topline revenue while leading operational excellence, patient and employee experience, physician integration, and community engagement across the five-hospital region.

Co-founder and past CEO of VillageMD

Tim Barry is the founder and Managing Director of Red Moose Investments. Red Moose invests in early stage healthtech companies that materially enhance clinical value and lifestyle for beneficiaries of the healthcare system. Previously, Tim was the co-founder, Chair and CEO of VillageMD, retiring from the company in 2024. Under Tim’s leadership, VillageMD grew from one clinic and eight physicians to over 800 clinics, 4,000 physicians, and 21,000 employees. A pioneer in value based healthcare delivery, VillageMD was routinely recognized for the quality of care it provided to its millions of patients, and Tim was recognized by Modern Healthcare in 2023 as one of the 100 Most Influential People in U.S. healthcare. Prior to VillageMD, Mr. Barry served in a number of executive roles across Accretive Health, Universal American, and Blue Shield of California. He currently sits on the Boards of Red Moose portfolio companies and is active in several healthcare nonprofits. Mr. Barry has served on the Cornell Board of Trustees since 2024.

Chief Transformation Officer, Sanford Health Plan

Tommy Ibrahim, MD, MBA, MHA, is executive vice president and chief transformation officer for Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the country. Headquartered in Sioux Falls, SD, Sanford Health is an integrated, nonprofit system serving more than 2 million patients across the upper rural Midwest, with a network that includes 58 hospitals, 289 clinic locations, 145 senior care communities, 4,500 physicians and advanced practice providers and 1,100 active clinical trials and studies.

In this role, Dr. Ibrahim oversees Technology, Digital, AI Strategy, Data Analytics, Innovation and Sanford Research, and he partners with system leaders on the transition to value-based care. He is focused on driving Sanford Health’s transformation strategy and roadmap; ensuring strong AI and data governance; accelerating progress responsibly and demonstrating measurable impact in employee and clinician satisfaction, patient experience, affordability, operational and financial performance.

Under Dr. Ibrahim’s leadership, Sanford Health is scaling AI-enabled end-to-end operational reimaginations and proactive care models that are delivering measurable improvements in early detection and intervention. These include a chronic kidney disease tool that has doubled testing and tripled early diagnoses among patients with diabetes, and a colorectal cancer risk tool embedded in the EMR that analyzes 85 factors to prioritize screenings — helping close care gaps and improve outcomes for patients across rural geographies.

Dr. Ibrahim also leads a rural-focused research enterprise engaging more than 21,000 participants in Sanford-led clinical trials and studies — one of the largest rural-focused research cohorts in the region — with a commitment to building the foundation for future treatments driving evidence-based care.

Dr. Ibrahim is a nationally recognized leader in rural health care transformation and a sought-after voice on the future of care delivery. He regularly speaks on the role of innovation, AI, technology, patient experience, affordability and value-based care in shaping the next era of rural health.

He also serves in several leadership and advisory roles across the health innovation ecosystem, including advising select portfolio companies for Abundant Venture Partners, a16z and Redesign Health.

Prior to this role, Dr. Ibrahim served as president and CEO of Sanford Health Plan, which serves 415,000 members across South Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and North Dakota.

Before joining Sanford Health, Dr. Ibrahim served as president and CEO of Bassett Healthcare Network and has held numerous leadership positions within the health care industry for more than 15 years. Before joining Bassett in 2020, he served as executive vice president and chief physician executive for INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma, as chief physician officer and vice president of medical affairs at MercyOne in Des Moines, Iowa and as senior vice president and chief physician executive at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

A board-certified hospitalist, Dr. Ibrahim received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Christopher’s IMD College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, an academic affiliate of Johns Hopkins, and is licensed in multiple states. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University, a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Seton Hall University, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Fellow in Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Ibrahim and his wife, Marian, have two children and reside in Sioux Falls, SD.

Dan Grauman, based in Philadelphia/New York, is a Managing Director for the Valuation Advisory division at VMG Health. He brings over 45 years of expertise in healthcare consulting, serving clients nationwide, including community and teaching hospitals, health systems, and clinically integrated networks. Before joining VMG Health, he served as co-founder and CEO of Veralon, where he led the firm’s growth and strategic initiatives. His current focus includes transactions, mergers and affiliations, value-based payment strategies, and valuation, helping organizations navigate complex healthcare dynamics.
