Health Policy Research Priorities
Our health research policy priorities include the most urgent issues in health policy and research on these issues may overlap priorities and often span our core research pillars. Child and Family Policy
Our faculty conducts research on the impact of poverty, limited childcare and early education, and gaps in pediatric care on the health and wellbeing of children and families. CHPC advances policies that that support families and improve outcomes for the next generation.

Aging Policy
Our faculty conduct research on the capacity of our health care system to meet the complex needs of an aging population. CHPC advances policies that promote healthy aging, improve access to care, strengthen long-term support for individuals and caregivers, and ensure people can age with health and dignity.

Our faculty conduct research on effective prevention, treatment, harm reduction and health communication strategies related to mental health and addiction. CHPC works to advance policies to bring effective approaches to scale.

Our research examines how health systems can better deliver affordable, high-quality care. Our center advances policy solutions that improve how care is organized, delivered, and paid for—leading to better patient health.

Our Medicaid research examines how to use the program to improve health at scale. Our center advances policies that strengthen the health care safety net, support community providers, and make Medicaid a driver of better health.
